A researcher with spatial statistical skills is required to assist with work on a new Flowminder Foundation and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation project focussed on the assessment of the potential of mobile phone data analytics for improving high resolution poverty mapping.

Working under the supervision of Dr Andrew Tatem, you will join Geography and Environment, in the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the University of Southampton, but the work will also involve close collaboration with partners at the Flowminder Foundation (, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Harvard School of Public Health and the University of Washington.
